Shelly Ransom, M.S., SLP-CCC

Shelly Ransom is a Speech Language Pathologist, living in Darien, CT. She has worked in a myriad of environments, which include public and private schools, private practices, outpatient clinics, and acute hospital settings. She has experience evaluating and treating speech and language disorders, such as expressive/receptive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, communication delays associated with autism spectrum disorders, articulation/phonological processing, and feeding/swallowing disorders. Shelly enjoys collaborating with families and other professionals in order to treat the whole child. Her passion for helping individuals find their voice guides her therapy sessions, and is a common thread that flows into her volunteer work and her yoga & meditation teachings. She received her M.S. from Sacred Heart University, winning the Dean’s Leadership Award, and her B.A. from Purchase College, SUNY. When she isn’t thinking about Speech and Language, she loves reading novels, kayaking, and spending time with her husband and two children. Her certifications and trainings include:
