Lauren M. Pote, PsyD is a clinical psychologist who specializes in psychoeducational evaluations and psychotherapy. She has worked in inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Pote completed her pre- and postdoctoral training at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, where she was later the Clinical Administrator of the agency’s office that serves the communities of Darien and New Canaan. She has presented to local communities on a variety of topics related to mental health of children and adolescents, including parenting skills, stress management, family communication, and teen dating violence. In addition, Dr. Pote has provided training and supervision to psychology graduate students on externship and internship. She earned her undergraduate degree at Vassar College and her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology at the University of Hartford.
